My name is Aderayo, and from the moment I could thread a needle, fashion was never just a hobby — it was my language. Growing up in Lagos, Nigeria, I was surrounded by the most breathtaking fabrics in the world: bold ankara prints, rich adire, regal aso-oke. I saw women walk into rooms and command attention simply by what they wore. I wanted to give every woman that feeling.
What started as reimagining my own outfits and transforming friends' wardrobes became a full calling. In 2017, I formalised that passion at fashion school in Nigeria, where I deepened my craft in garment construction, pattern-making, and design. Then I took that knowledge, packed my ambition, and brought it to Atlanta, Georgia — where RAYO'S PLACE was born.
